Amit Apel paints, sculpts, and makes objects and furniture by hand. It is where the studio's eye for form, material and light is trained.
The work itself
Art came first, and it never stopped.
For more than three decades Amit has worked across painting, sculpture, objects and hands-on making, alongside the design work the studio is known for. The two have never been separate. A form tested by hand turns up later as a stair, a screen, a ceiling or a doorway.
