What this website collects
This website does not have a user account system, does not sell anything online, and does not store submitted information on its own servers.
The project inquiry form on the contact page does not transmit data to us directly. When you complete it and submit, your own email program opens with the information you entered already written into a draft message addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you send that email yourself, and nothing you typed is stored by this website. If you close the draft without sending it, we never receive it.
If you do send that email, or email or telephone us directly, we receive whatever you chose to include. That typically means your name, email address, telephone number, project location, project type, and anything you write in your message.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, does not run third-party analytics, and does not use advertising pixels or social media trackers.
If analytics or traffic measurement are added to this website in future, this notice will be updated before that happens, and it will describe what is collected and how to opt out.
Our hosting provider records standard server access logs, which generally include IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. These are retained by the hosting provider for security and reliability purposes and are not used by us to build profiles of individuals.
How we use what you send us
To respond to your inquiry, to discuss a possible project, and to carry out any engagement that follows. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Information may be shared with consultants, engineers, contractors or agencies where doing so is necessary to advance your project, and with service providers such as our email host who process it on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not become projects are retained in our email records. Project correspondence is retained for the life of the project and afterwards as required for professional, insurance, tax and legal purposes.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that statute.
